Q. How do I order a cake?
We would be delighted to talk to you about your cake over the phone or send us an email including the following information: date of the event, delivery (location) / collection, event theme/occasion, number of people cake needs to serve, telephone number, email address, ideas or description of cake design
Q. How far in advance do I need to order my cake?
We ask for at least 2 months notice when ordering wedding cakes and 2 weeks for other celebrations, however we will always try to accommodate orders at shorter notice.
Q. Do I have to choose one of the cakes from your portfolio?
No. All of our cakes are individually designed. You can certainly order a cake from the website, but they are also there as inspiration. Please call us to discuss any ideas that you have for your cake.
Q. What flavour cakes can I chose from?
We offer a wide variety of flavours for both our cakes and icings. Our cake flavours include vanilla sponge, chocolate sponge, lemon sponge, fruit cake or chocolate biscuit cake and are finished with complimentary flavoured icing. Our buttercream icings include vanilla, coffee, chocolate and lemon curd. A full list of flavours is available under the information section of our website.
Q. Can you make gluten free cakes?
Yes, we can make gluten free cakes on request.
Q. Do you bake your own cakes?
Yes. All our cakes are baked on our premises which is Health Board Registered.
Q. Can you deliver my cake?
Yes. Delivery within the Dublin area is available for our novelty cakes. Please ask for a quote. All cakes can be collected from our Blackrock studio. If the cake is collected, we will not liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our studio.
Q. Can I mix the flavours of my wedding cake?
Of course. Each tier of your wedding cake can be a different flavour. Should you chose chocolate biscuit cake or fruit cake as one of the tiers, this must be the bottom tier.
Q. Can we taste the cakes?
We are delighted to provide wedding cake customers with samples. Please call to arrange a consultation and to let us know which flavours you are interested in.
Q. Do you require a deposit for wedding cakes?
To confirm a wedding cake order, a non-refundable deposit of €100 is required. The balance is due 2 weeks before the delivery or collection of the cake.
Q. I want to use fresh flowers on my wedding cake; do I buy them from you?
Your florist will supply the flowers for the wedding cake and we will liaise with them to ensure everything is to your satisfaction.
